Beautiful, minimalist interior design is my passion at Samantha Humphreys Studio, and I am eager to help you put together stunning living spaces for your Lake Norman, North Carolina home. As an interior designer with a background in engineering and a flair for Nordic design, I am eager to help you turn your home into a stunning, yet functional place you don’t want to leave.
As an interior designer, I follow a typical process whenever I’m presented with a new project. This process includes the following stages:
- Initial consultation—I usually like to get the ball rolling with an initial consultation, which allows me to see the room(s) requiring attention and understand what my clients want and need. The initial meeting not only gives me the opportunity to find out how my clients live, but also gives them the chance to get to know me and learn how we can work together.
- Design stage—The design stage starts with a personalized Pinterest board, which gives my client a visual indicator of the look and feel of the room. This is reviewed and tweaked (if necessary) before moving onto the layout, mood board and shopping list. Once both my client and I are happy with the final design, the products can be purchased and delivered.
- Styling–When all the products have arrived to the house, I can come back and put the finishing touches on the room, arranging any decorative items to pull the scheme together.
